The youth walked alone in folly

The youth walked alone in folly
he listened to the ocean's waves
he would never forget Holly
crushed in the Midland caves.

His mind crashed against the rocks
his world in dismay
he moseyed betwixt the docks
and saw nothing but decay.

The boy was a mere child
he knew this well
his inner thoughts went wild
nothing he could do but dwell.

The night was a great chill
shivering to the bone
the youth remained still
he remained all alone.

This is a tale of youth
of suffering and past regrets

what else was there in sooth.
one never forget.
